You’ve probably noticed that this section is called ‘This & That’, rather than ‘My Blog’. Why? Because blogging scares me. I read a lot of blogs and I’m not ashamed to say that I’m intimidated by all the great author and agent blogs out there. They’re all so witty, insightful, funny, entertaining, and they give excellent writing advice. It’s enough to give a newbie like me a complex!
Anyway, I’ve decided to ease myself into it by sharing what’s going on with my debut novel. As I type this, revisions are complete on Love in the Afternoon, and the manuscript is in the capable hands of the Carina Press copy editors. Soon, I’ll have one last read-through before it’s formatted for digital release.
What I’m really excited about is seeing the cover. I should be getting a look at it in the not too distant future and as soon as I’m able, I’ll post it, along with the back cover blurb here on my website for everyone to see.
Meanwhile, I’m editing book two, which is tentatively titled The Winning Season, and I’ve started writing my third book, tentatively titled In Name Only.
I’ll be back soon with more info on Love in the Afternoon, and hopefully, I’ll get the hang of this blogging thing.
